The Band II
Second collaboration with artist Boris Telegen. Presented during his solo exhibition at Ron Mandos Gallery, The Band II consisted of five robotic sculptures containing embedded speaker systems. For the installation, I composed a ten-channel ambient piece, spatially distributed across the sculptures to create a fragmented and evolving sound environment.
For the finissage, I expanded the installation into a one-hour live performance using five separate instruments, each representing an individual band member within the system.

Image-driven Sound Portrait
Created in collaboration with fine-art photographer Olga Wagemans, this project translated infrared video into sound in realtime. The video material was analysed in TouchDesigner and converted into control data transmitted wirelessly to a modular synthesizer.
Rather than accompanying the image, the sound was generated directly by the behaviour and movement within the footage itself. The final portrait installation was exhibited at Haute Photographie Rotterdam as a 15-minute audiovisual work presented on iPad with headphones.

NWAQ - Above EP | Videoclips
Created for the Above EP by NWAQ, expanding upon the visual language developed by artist Jan Robert Leegte for the record sleeve artwork.
The original imagery explored landscapes progressively degraded through JPG compression artifacts. Using TouchDesigner, I translated this concept into a series of realtime image-processing systems in which filmed material dissolved into fragmented textures through audio-reactive compression, resolution decay and digital erosion.

Dutch Modular Fest (AV-performance).
Presented at Dutch Modular Fest inside a former prison complex in Utrecht, this audiovisual performance explored a realtime feedback relationship between image and sound.
Self-shot footage, AI-generated animation and modular synthesis continuously influenced one another through interconnected audiovisual systems, allowing the performance to evolve organically during playback. The project marked an important step toward a broader series of feedback-driven live works.

The Band at ADE
Created in collaboration with artist Boris Telegen during Amsterdam Dance Event, The Band transformed a raw basement space in central Amsterdam into a spatial audiovisual installation consisting of five robotic band members.
Each sculpture contained an embedded speaker system driven by a ten-channel composition designed specifically for the architecture of the space. Sounds continuously shifted between the figures, creating moving atmospheres and fragmented rhythmic structures throughout the installation.
At the opening event of the installation, I performed the piece live using five separate instruments representing each individual robotic band member.

IPIHAN#8 Tape loop installations
Created during a five-week residency inside an abandoned building in Altenburg, Germany, these tape loop installations explored decay, memory and the gradual reclaiming of man-made structures by nature.
Field recordings from the building were combined with synthesized material and transferred onto microcassette tape loops routed physically through cracks and peeled surfaces within the space. As dust accumulated on the exposed tape over time, the audio slowly degraded, allowing the environment itself to become part of the composition.

IPIHAN #8 Documentary
During a five-week residency in an abandoned building in Altenburg, Germany, I documented the artists, architecture and evolving exhibition process surrounding IPIHAN #8.
Rather than approaching the project as a conventional documentary, the work focused on atmosphere, process and spatial presence. Inspired by films such as Koyaanisqatsi, sound functioned as the narrative voice throughout the piece.
The final soundtrack combined field recordings captured within the building with composed material and sonic interpretations of the artists’ processes and the spaces they inhabited, resulting in a fifty-minute audiovisual portrait of the residency and exhibition.

Audi Shanghai
Created for an interactive Audi conference installation in Shanghai, where visitors could engage in spoken conversations with an AI system beneath a responsive light ceiling environment.
My role focused on translating the generated speech into realtime visual animation using TouchDesigner, allowing motion to create character and become part of a spatial experience.
Sentomea - Wonderment EP
Wonderment EP is a five-track release on M>O>S Recordings exploring texture, atmosphere and improvisation-driven composition.
The tracks were created in a dedicated studio setup in which sound design experiments and hardware-based live performance continuously shaped the final compositions.
The record sleeve artwork by De Constructie was further translated into a series of realtime audiovisual interpretations for the EP videos and accompanying visual loops.

Sentomea - Preface EP
Preface EP is a double EP released on Delsin Records, built around hardware-based live recordings and improvisational composition.
The project embraces lo-fi textures, realtime performance and spontaneous interaction as compositional elements, allowing imperfections and raw decision-making to remain audible within the final recordings.
The sleeve artwork was created by Boris Telegen.

Mutatia
Created as part of Klik Animatie Festival, Mutatia was a collaborative short film developed within a one-week production process alongside Nienke Deutz, Michaël Veerman, Teodora Filipova and Anoeska Huige.
My role focused on sound design and final mix, with sound functioning as an essential part of the characters and animations within the film.
The project received third prize and was showcased at Eye Filmmuseum.
